24 Sep Vintage Americana Baby Shower Invitation
If you have been reading this blog for awhile, you have heard me sing the praises of my friend, Kat Phillips. She is amazingly innovative and creative, and if you are not yet, you will be a fan after this post. I, first and foremost, want to thank her for allowing me to use images of her beautiful work on this blog.
Our dear friend, Kelly Kay, has a baby shower coming up. Since she is the designer of beautiful paper herself, we knew we wanted to create a special invitation for her. Kat dreamed this, designed it, tweaked it, and produced it. We are still in awe. Enjoy.
It was a happy yellow day when I saw the invitation in my mailbox. I had only seen it on the computer…

Oh the anticipation!
This is what I pulled out.
I know, it’s perfectly perfect. Let’s take it apart piece by piece. First, we remove the rubber band and look at this darling “3” card.

Then comes the vintage postcard. Yes, these are true vintage! We included this idea especially for dear friends far away that may not be able to come, but they can still be a part of the shower. Each person can write their thoughts, encouragement, blessings for KK, and send it to her. More to come on these when I do a recap of the shower.

Then comes the “Time to Celebrate” card. It’s a precious baby boy, by the way.
