I often find things that would make pretty plant containers. I am particularly drawn to vintage brass pots, and I do have a few I have used as planters. But I like it when people think outside of the box, and I see something totally unexpected.

I LOVE this idea! A cluster of these could be really beautiful in a sunny room on a round table, with a variety of curiosities surrounding them. Yes, that is the instant mental picture I got when I saw this DIY.

This shutter idea is so smart. Old shutters are fairly easy to find at your local salvage store, and this is such a simple way to dress up a patio!

A long time ago, I bought an old, industrial bread pan like this at the flea market with the full intention of turning it into a planter. I will get to that when we put our yard back together. The yard my kids currently call “the beach”.
