Isn’t that tile work gorgeous?  And genius?!  Those white subway tiles are so cheap, and I love how they are dressed up with the patterned borders.  I am definitely filing this away for when we get rid of our pink bathroom.  All this room needs are a few touches to soften it up a bit, and I am happy.  Speaking of my bathroom, I have a post coming soon on “what to do with rooms/spaces you don’t like but cannot afford to fix right now”.  Do any of you have a room like that?  They are usually kitchens and bathrooms.  🙂

    That tile work is stunning. I love it! I have a “troubled room” and it is a bathroom and I have no idea what to do with it!

    That’s a great idea for a post, our inherited bathroom is dull and grey, with grey tiles on the wall and floor, and definitely on the ‘when we win the lottery’ list.

    Are you still taking troubled spacing submissions? I have a bathroom that I’m not happy with, but need to make a few updates in before we potentially but our house on the market. I’m actually retexturing walls tomorrow because it currently has this awful, shiny plaster finish but after that I’m stuck. I’ve considered painting horizontal stripes on the wall but I don’t know if I’m brave enough. Maybe you could help me decide?!
