Powerful Patterns

Powerful Patterns

I have been pondering writing a practical post on mixing patterns.  During my research, I stumbled across this photo from Lonny (do you read it?  It’s a GREAT online design mag), and was struck by the unexpected mix of pattern here.  Some people love it, some don’t.

Your house is such a good example of mixing patterns not overwhelmingy, but cohesively! xoxo

I love the mixed patterns! They make it look like the room evolved into what it is rather than was stamped out.

Hi Muffet! I totally agree. And I definitely appreciate the wild “I like it so I bought it and put it all together” look. xoxo
