Hunting for Outdoor Fabrics

Hunting for Outdoor Fabrics

As I mentioned before, I am so excited and honored to be part of the Home Depot Style Challenge this year!  If you would like to follow along with my plans and other inspiration, I would love it!  Click here.

All of this beautifying of my outdoor space has me on the hunt for pretty outdoor fabrics.  Which, to be honest, is kind of a beatdown.  Does anyone else agree? It’s either too granny or it looks too much like boat fabric.  And when I find a fabric/pattern I do like, it is three digits a yard.  Boo.

However, I found some pretty options at Joann’s yesterday, and thought I would share!

I was feeling drawn to this geometric pattern in a vivid aqua and sand colorway,

black, gray, and taupe colorway,

and emerald, cornflower blue, and navy colorway.

This blue chevron was subtle and soothing.

Who doesn’t love a trellis pattern?  I would like this better if the yellow was a little brighter – it was more of a butter color.

If you have a moody, contemporary space, this pattern could work.  (I wish I were this cool.)

An oversized, suzani-look fabric makes a bright statement.

This geometric pattern with some movement in it was my favorite.  Both the yellow and salmon colorways were striking.

I felt I needed to include a stripe, though it was hard for me to find one I liked.  This one was the best they had in my opinion.

I was immediately drawn to this fabric because I love nearly all things foliage, and this had a Dorothy Draper feel to me.  However, when I saw the purple flower, my feelings immediately cooled.  It’s so random!

I stopped in my tracks when I saw this pattern.  Do you remember this post?  A very mod approach to the delicacy of Queen Anne’s Lace, but the colors are bright and cheery.

Normally, these fabrics are $19.99-$24.99 a yard, but they are 30% off right now!  Do you need any of these patterns?

What is your go-to source for outdoor fabrics?

I love your blog! I just found it and I’m so glad I did! I like house fabrics for outdoor and indoor. They have a great selection of colors! 🙂 Love the prints you found, too. Especially the trellis in the green and navy colorway.
