19 Sep Gray, Gold, & White Gender Neutral Nursery
As you may have noticed, I took a little month long vacation from the blog to rejuvenate. My family and I went on our first family vacation in six years, I delved into design work that I am really happy with (can’t wait to share!), and I cherished the summer time with my kids. But I am happy to be back, as I do really love writing and sharing, and I am so thrilled to finally be able to reveal one of my latest design projects – this precious nursery. You may remember how this all started when I revealed the design board and plan in this post, and I have to say, it turned out even better than I imagined. This couple has been so wonderful to work with, and I think they got the “traditional yet modern, calm nursery” they wanted. Since they decided not to find out the sex of the baby, we crafted a space that could work for both genders. I will have all of the DIY’s and overall thought process behind what you see in the room on the blog next week, but for today head on over to the Pottery Barn Building Blocks blog to see more of the space in depth. Hope you enjoy it!
For even more details on this space, see the following posts:

And because I know I’m going to get a ton of “where did you get that?” emails, here is a list of the sources from the room. (I will be talking about sources next week, but this list can help you be “in the know” until then.) If I am forgetting one you are curious about, let me know in the comments!

Posted at 21:46h, 04 NovemberHi Grace
Beautiful room! I’m curious about the light bulbs for what I think is the Jonathan Adler fixture. I have the same in nickel and love the look of yours.
thx
Grace
Posted at 10:02h, 07 NovemberHi Mimi, HA! Well, this is actually a vintage fixture, but yes, it does look a lot like the JA piece. The funny thing is, I forgot to put light bulbs in the fixture before we took the pictures, so yes, it is light bulb-less. GREAT eye! 😉 G

Congratulations on the well-deserved spread in BHG – I love that you used incorporate that magazine into your Barbie playtime!
